Comment:

I don't know why, but AVG 7.5 won't run when I startup my computer anymore. I've tried to check all the settings/options/preferences and haven't seen anything that will make it run without me telling it to do so. I've tried to use run > msconfig but I don't see it listed as something I can select to run, even though several components of AVG used to be. Can someone help me get it to run automatically when I turn on my computer again? Thanks!

I encountered the same problem before. I don't really know what causes this. First I did system restore, but the problem happened again after a couple of days.
Next, I uninstalled and reinstalled avg antivirus and it took care of the problem for me. Hope it works for you as well.

2 things you need to do

1) in settings of AVG enable it to stat at startup

2)then go onto msconfig

Helping your everyday needs,

Mr Saunders

Hi,

AVG won't remain free... You will be asked (if using freeware version) to purchase a license.

I am using Avast free and it is great.

Karl
