Something is redirecting my browsing selections, both with direct typing into address bar and clicking on search selections. This bagan after installing AVG Antivirus Free Edition, and it would not update (couldn't connect to AVG site for updates), I uninstalled it. Now when I browse in IE7, I cannot go to websites that are security related (Mcafee, Trendnet, Symantect, etc). I try to direct type the site address into my browser address bar, and click web sites' links in search results. I get redirected to what appears to be a blank Yahoo Search window with an AVG logo at the top right. The browser address of this page is: http://us.yhs.search.yahoo.com/avg/... It seems there is some "relic" of AVG tied with Yahoo search that is preventing me from visiting AVG's competitors. Also, occasionally I get redirected to some other unknown Antivirus Scanning site, instructing me to do an online scan, which I certainly don't do. It seems other "non-security related" web sites are unaffected by this redirect action. Please help.
