AVG or McAfee 4.5.1 on 98se?

so what is the better option between these two anti-virus programs?

I just rebuilt an old Dell Inspiron 3500 with Win98SE (yeah, I know - it makes me gag too) but I obviously need to put on an anti-virus program and have narrowed the considerations down to either AVG or McAfee 4.5.1 (as that is the only version of McAfee I have that will run on 98).

I have my doubts 4.5.1 has the capacity even with the latest DAT's to find modern day infections. please let me know what any of you folks would recommend doing.

AVG dont waste time with old McAfee software, even their new stuff isn't so hot.
