Is any one else having problems lately downloading updates using AVG Free edition? they takeing forever and at times time out.

Upgrade to AVG 7 Free Edition or you can try Avast Home Edition which is also free. You just have to renew your licence every 14 months but it's free. Good luck.

hi, i have been to the avg forum and they say the update servers are down.been down since last week.so due to this and the virus the new avg did not find i switched back to norton til avg can get its act together. keltik
