Comment:

My AVG showed the Exploit virus: 2_z{1}htm in a temp file of IE.
AVG message said there was a problem trying to repair it and it didn't put in the virus vault so I could delete it there. How do I find and delete it? I copied the path from AVG, can you search for it and delete it that way? Will another anti-virus work?

chris, if you'd like you can D/L Avast free
Avast! 4 home edition
Then disable AVG, execute the avast and let it do a bootscan and then a regular scan. You can always uninstall Avast and go back to AVG after that.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Thank you both, I'll check into them. At least I know its there and needs to be fixed even if AVG didn't isolate it. We have all the updates from IE - from what I've read, they've fixed security hole that Exploit uses. Still got through somehow.

I'm thinking it was an older clip download that had IE5. I did try to find it but the search kept giving message that it wasn't a valid filepath and when I looked in the temp files I couldn't find anything with even a similar name.

Thank you both again.
