Hi:
I'm running AVG and here is the message that I get occasionally from the AVG protection software:

"AVG Resident Shield

Virus
Trojan horse Dropper.Swicer.A

is found in file
C:\ System Volume
Information\_restore{3A34AE7F-8940-4C03-8D37-CD28C596DC64}-\RP244\A0053425exe

To remove this virus, please run AVG for Windows"

I have run AVG several times after getting this message, as well a couple of online scanners, and no viruses were found. When I leave the computer on for several hours, I will get several of these error messages. Any suggestions re: what is causing the message, and how I can get rid of it?

Thanks

This is telling you the virus is in the restore files. You need to disable the restore function and reboot your computer , then scan your drive and this will get rid of it . You then can go back and reenable the restore function .
