I had a router, wireless routerZone Alarn, Ad Aware and Spybot SD plus Spyhunter from Enigma.I ran an online scan from Norton and Trend Micro..both reported my system secure..Only problem was it wasnt. My AVG would shut down mid scan and not remain active as it usally does in my sys tray. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with new downloads .
TDS 3 found a FILE called MSGNET32.exe
it terminated & deleted the parent file and warned me that it also had a memory componet.
The memory componet popped up as MSGNET.PF in windows explorer as soon as the parent was deleted. I shredded both files and AVG is back RUNNING . It was bugging me..so I hope this helps AVG free usere

Thanks my TDS3 saved me the trouble, the Pre-Fetch file and the parent removal solved the problem. What ticks me off is Norton online scan and Trend Micro both failed to find the problem.
