Comment:

I've been using avast now for months and finally decided to read about the small i icon(the VRDB) in the system tray which has been still all these months. After reading about it I clicked on generate VRDB now. The icon became animated and won't stop. Should I stop it or uncheck 'generate VRDB now"? Should I let it remain animated? I don't quite understand it. Thanks

Just stop it. You can also merge it with the main icon. Like avast.
