Avast deleting rundll32.exe

Specs: Windows XP, 1.0 GB
I am using Avast antivirus. It is taking rundll32.exe as a threat and has moved it to virus chest. I cannot use control panel at all. Also my registry edit/regedit is blocked by administrator when I am the administrator. Please help.

I could fix the registry problem but the control panel problem is still there. The avast is still taking rundll32.exe as virus win32.sality. Please help me on not letting avast recognizing rundll32.exe as virus. Or if there is any other way of fixing it then also please let me know. Thank you very much.

Avast scan boot scanning also and if there any single or small threat in your registry or system,it will be deleted.For run your pc again,you have to restore your system.
