I have virus. Whenever I try to open a HDD from ?My Computer" I get the error that "autorun.vbs? cannot be found. I have searched the and that file is not found anywhere. I can open these drives from "Windows Explorer" however. What can I do?

I ran my installed AVG (free) and then ran the TRENDMICRO House Call scan. Neither one found a virus. I did research autorun.vbs and it is a virus according to Symantec. Remember, autorun.vbs is no longer on my system but its effects remain.
