Hi friends,i have a problem in my pc autorun.inf is it is a virus or what.i found this in my pc,in my pendrive.I am using avira anti virus but i tried every other anti virus they were unable to detect or delete this thing.please help me solve this

The autorun.inf file is used to get your USB drive or CD-ROM drive, to perform certain actions automatically.


It can also be used maliciously.

I am not suggesting you download their program. If you do check it for virus,trojans ect.

So the answer is no it is not a virus, but it can be destructive if used incorrectly.
