Comment: I have norton internet security 2004. When i boot I get the message "The norton antivirus auto-protect driver could not be loaded. Your system is not protected from viruses. Please restart your computer". As a result of this message Auto-protect is disabled. I checked the solution to this error onthe symantec site. I tried the solution but none worked. The last solution is to reinstall the norton. When I try ti uninstall it says that I have to be logged in as a supervisor to complete task. I am logged in on the machine as supervisor. However, when I checked the user Account in Internet security it is showing that I am logged in. I this this is why I can't unistall. I don't know if because auto-protect is disabled it also disabled the login accounts. How can I enable the logon accounts so as be able to uninstall norton? or any other soultion for enabling the auto-protect
