a few days ago my monitor screen turns blank while working on it
i managed to get it to work again after disconnecting unnecessary peripheries
now i noticed a few minutes after everytime i boot up a message appear that says
"Auto Protect has Experienced an unexpected error
3035 ,6"
i was given a link and upon clicking reached at symantec
there was told to download a fix tool,
that did not work
was told to download norton removal tool next but upon doing so i was timed out after 31% was completed
i have the norton installation cd but cant do another proper install because i lent a few friends and it was returned to me after the last guy says that the number of installation has been exceeded
NB just checking the auto protect checkbox does not stay that way
because i have tried it on many occasions
as soon as u close the window and open norton again there is the box unchecked again any help would be greatly appreciated
thanx
