After I had to format and reload Vista64 and all of the other pgms, I checked my McAfee and found many attempts to connect to my computer from the Internet. I have ATT DSL. By using the trace feature on McAfee I thought it would be easy. NOT. The URLs were broken and no way to contact the IP the pings and other attempts to connect to my computer came from. I did have the address. Prime real estate! 4676 Admiralty Way Marina Del Rey, CA 90292. When all else fails try Google Earth. Wow it's right across the street from the big boats at the marina. The ground floor is a bank so I called them and got the building managers phone. He gave me the tenants number in suite 330. Others have found this too. It's a company that generates the numbers and confirms the names for new IP addresses and domains. Now I'm talking to a real human being, sort of. She says they are just leasing servers to customers and has no responsibility for what happens. I talk to her some more and get what she says is the website of the company generating the attacks. Attempts to contact them have been frutless. Their email is in London, England. Sorry I have lost it. Good old Vista64. You don't need no stinkin virus, Vista can mess it up all by itself. That's another letter.

Try to use a firewall... something like www.zonealarm.com which comes with a free edition easy to set. I remember a couple of years ago, after formatting my friend's pc it started getting viruses after 2 minutes. I installed the firewall and everything was all right. Sometimes hackers track your IP to send malware
