Associations Problem

Hi all...

I recently had hte nimda virus, I removed it with Norton...Now I have a bid of annoying problem...When I try to load certain programs..it brings up another program I have on my computer..I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program that opens when I try to open the files (Remote Administrator 2.1) but it wont help..I tried restoring file associations in registry with .reg files I found on the net but its not helping at all! Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

you can change file associations from a command prompt.
at c: type assoc /?
for more info.

Thanks...I could not see anything that looked wrong here...the programs still loading on boot and when I run certain files. :-\
