I'm having problems with AproposMedia, PeopleOnPage and Roudo20.exe which keep regenerating. I've cleaned my system with NoAdware, SpyBot S&D, SpyHunter, SpyWare Blaster, Microsoft AntiSpyware and CCleaner. All to no avail. I've deleted some exe files by logging on without XP and using the command prompt (in a directory called AutoUpdate and another I can't remember the name of.

My Hijack This log can be supplied if required.

You can copy/paste your HijackThis log into the analyzer at the link below; it will tell you what to remove.

1) Make sure to make a System Restore point before you make any change, or a full registry backup.

2) Make sure you're using the latest version of HijackThis.

My response from inputting the log file into the analyzer is below (after my comments):

My Comments: I DO use an anti-virus scanner (Norton AntiVirus - it is active and up to date) I DO have a firewall activated - it's on my router.

Hijack This Analysis:

It seems that you don't use an anti-virus scanner or your scanner is not active. Only an anti-virus scanner can protect you against new viruses. You can look here for a good anti-virus scanner.
No active firewall was found on your system or the firewall you use is unknown to us. If you don´t use a firewall you should download and install one or activate windows xp´s own one. In case you got questions or you want us to add the firewall you use to our database, contact us at our forum www.hijackthis.de/forum

I may be wrong, too much to remember by
memory. One more thing you can try.
Go to the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs feature. Select and remove 'AM Server' and 'POP'.

Some sites for hijackthis log reading.
