Apology for Wrong Information

Since there is no General forum I decided to post this here. During one of my posts (in a forum I can not remember) I made a statement about not knowing any e-mail viruses that infected a system just by just opening the e-mail. For some reason that statement bothered me. I guess the portion of the brain that we don't normally use kicked in. And then I remembered BubbleBoy, and his variants. So I apologize to anyone that read that post. I never intentionally pass along bogus information,I'm sure just like 99% of you guys don't either. One should be sure in their mind before the mouth or keyboard are let loose. Just a rule of life that I assigned to myself,no one else. Once again, my apologies!
easy to forget those things, and then you get an e-mail with a malicious script/virus in the body of the message or the signature area. there are many of those these days, unfortunately.

i know how it is. I started going on the internet in 1992...and for as long as i can remember, viruses couldn't be activated by opening e-mail. everytime someone would warn about it, i would just say that it's not true. Well, i guess the world passed me by :P I'm a unix/dos person, so maybe that's why i didn't notice the change in viruses :P
