aornum.exe is nasty spyware installed by iwon.com. When you remove it with iwon's instructions, it only hides deeper on your computer and continues to transmit data.
I learned a lot about the malware from this board in my research,, so I thought I'd return the favor.
I found a fix to remove aornum that doesn't require a reg edit, I also called iwon and they won't return my calls ....
here's the fix http://www.techtv.com/news/security/story/0,24195,3404387,00.html

Great post Becky. That article is very interesting. Especially the part about iWon being a TRUSTe company.
Could I suggest that you write to TRUSTe and complain to them? I did that once and it did help resolve a problem that I had.
iWon shouldn't be able to get away with this.

A search using your name Becky, found your other great articals.
Summary: It seems friendgreetings.com is affiliated with Permissioned Media. I found removal instructions for a program: WinSrv Reg *UPDATE* I found the program on the Client PC and removed it. I'm still not...
Summary: How is Aornum.exe not a violation of Iwon's Privacy Policy, especially after the host software has been removed according to their terms in their License agreement? http://www.iwon.com/home/companyin...
