AOL/Panda/Conflicts I have Windows 98SE, Dial Up and AOL 9.0 and Panda Titanium 2007 Antivirus and firewall. I recently did this upgrade from AOL 8.0. It appears to have made an annoying problem. I suspect limited resources of my puter or Panda conflicts somehow? This is the problem: Most often when I have to or decide to Restart and even Shut down the computer for the day. It will do the basic first steps of restarting/shutting down. It gets to a complete "blue" screen. Then after a brief delay all along the top of the monitor screen are these tiny green lines(like a fence) and the puter "freezes." And has to be shut down via the Power button. Once it has fully been rebooted and I try to repeat the above scenario it "usually" shuts down or restarts like it should. Not always though and it seems to happen more when you Restart than when you Shut down. One other thing worth noting that "seems?" to have some affect on the frequency of this happening. Is if the puter has done a complete Panda automatic update and I've done a manual Scan. It seems to Shutdown/Restart normally. The only other time I had this happen is when I had a screensaver running and had the monitor/power setting's set for an hour or so. Instead of never shutting off. Once I shut off the screensaver and adjusted the time that the monitor was to remain on to ON always. I rarely if ever had this green line/ freezing problem. Hope you can help maybe at least minimize this problem short of buying a new computer and changing to High Speed. As money would be an issue at this time. Sincerely, RALPHIE
