Comment: I am having the same problem with an unwanted system alert popup that leads to an "Antivermins" web site. Can this be fixed similarly?

Reply: (edit)It doesn't say "Messenger service". It creates a message baloon that says that my computer may have virus activity and that I should click on the baloon to install antimal software. I then get a IE popup for Antivermins.

Reply: (edit)Download ATF CLEANER and Super Anti Spyware Then boot into safe mode by tapping the F8 key continually while booting up and run the Atf cleaner then the Super Antispyware Please Post back if this helped " If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried."
