Ok guys, thanks for your help in advance...

I have Symantec AntiVirus. Further details when I open the program are:
- Program: 9.0.0.338
- Scan engine: 1.4.1.12

And the problem I am having is that I cannot get the updates and virus definitions or whatever it is that I need. There is a little button is which I'm supposed to press in order to get these things. But the button is greyed out and cannot be clicked on. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can fix this problem or if they could give me a download link to the updates and I could manually put them into the correct folder or something.

Again, thanks in advance!

Symantec Updater, if you know when this started why not run system restore.

Do not type anything in this space.

Assuming your subscription is up to date, try looking for the live update command - it should be in
c:\program files\symantec\Liveupdate\Luall.exe
If it isn't there the easiest thing to do is uninstall & reinstall NAV.
If you just want updates you can also go to the Symantec website & download the Intelligent Updater (it's about 7Mb) - run this & (as long as your sub's current) it will update the definitions (but it won't cure the LU problem)
