Specs: Windows 7, 165ghz 4gig ram
been on b4 and got really good help to lower my ram usage so thanks. i asked about anti virus but the answers went to my email but when i opened it it said there was nothing there so thought i woul try again.i do alot of online betting at bet365 and william hill and i was told its not a case or getting malware its a case of when so its got me worried. ive got top norton running and microsoft securirty essentials plus got malwarebytes but it says ive only got a few days trial to go so can i uninstall it when it ends and install it again or not or is there any other free maleware products out there.cuz in quaratine its got a little green[ bug pup.bundle.inst..].i paid 40 for norton for a yr but ive been told to unistall it and jus keep mircrosoft security essentials on its own if its better for my lap top i will even though i got 9 and a half months left on it, is that a good idea. im doing pc lessons to improve my lack of skills.

✔ Best Answer
Running Norton and Microsoft Security Essentials at the same time can cause conflicts with their Real Time Scanners. Which can leave your pc defenseless to infection. Having Malwarebytes as your second scanner is great, and when the trial runs out the free version is excellent. (Do not remove it)
Its up to you which Antivirus you which to keep on your pc, I personally would remove Norton and MSE and install Avast free. If you have have 9 months left on your Norton, use that up first.

thank you for ur quick reply and i will do what u said i will get rid of norton after the 9 months is up. what should i do right now. i was told u can have no more than 2 anti virus on pc at any 1 time. so is it best just to keep things as is untill norton runs out. ive allways used free ant virus software on the free trial. avast. trend. avg and allways have had microsoft security essentials and never had any problems upto now. the norton was a present from my mum. so what would you do. all seems to be working great at the mo. it was just on a earlier post alot of people said cuz i go on bet365 and william hill its not a case of if i will get maleware and virus its just a case of when it happens cuz it will thats why im worried. thanks again for ur answer

"i was told u can have no more than 2 anti virus on pc at any 1 time." - This is incorrect. - One Antivirus Only.
I would remove all Antivirus Programs on your pc except Norton.
I would leave Malwarebytes on as your second on call malware scanner even when it goes to the free version.

As for any online betting it has risks. bet365 looks ok from user ratings etc.

I would remove all Antivirus Programs on your pc except Norton. That means Microsoft Security Essentials. :(
