Avast Free http://www.avast.com/eng/download-a...
and http://www.personalfirewall.comodo....
are a winning combination....both are free and work great together!

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Comodo firewall and AntiVir PE Classic.

Avast is a great AV because it catches infections in real-time as you surf as well as on-line updates...no scheduled scans needed like the other AV's.
The choice is yours

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I have the ZA pro on my sons system for 2 years now with no problems , I do agree the Comodo does have a great firewall but thier AV is something to watch out for ,
It seems to put a bunch of nastys on your system and hog resorces worse than Nortons
Personally I use the AVG internet security Suite ,AV, Firewall, Antispyware (Ewido) All in One and so far so good
