Reply: (edit)The News keeps on getting worse... it appears that I am infected with Win95 Matyas and Win32 Kuang2. I have tried to repair the files but I cannot repair them. The files are: C:/WINDOWS/system32/Activescan/imscan.dll..(infected with Win32 Kuang2) C:/WINDOWS/system32/Activescan/pav.sig (infected with Matyas) C:/WINDOWS/system32/pav.sig (infected with Matyas) For now im going to move them to the vault.. should I delete these files or are they too important???
ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED concerning any info on these 2 viruses
BTW , I did a scan with AVG on these files and according to AVG they wernt infected , guess it shows how important it is to have 2 anti-virus programs.

Reply: (edit)Avast is not certified by ICSA labs. I do not know anything about it. I do know that you are running it and have been infected at least twice. If you keep it constantly updated and it still fails to catch viruses, there is a problem. Also, running two AV programs can cause both to malfunction. Pick one and keep it updated. I recommend PC-Cillin or Pandasoft, but I think AVG is the better of the two you have.
