Help me please. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to this stuff - I see a lot of threads re- klone virus & redirections to WinAntiVirusPro2206 sites etc.. and I have got the same sort of issues. I have a plethora of Anti-virus & anti-spyware tools (one of the probably gave it to me) - SpyBot S&D, Edwido, AVG, SpyWare Guard, Spyware Blaster, and a couple of trial versions of stuff too. (most of which was installed after the fact). Can anyone offer suggestions as to how to cleanse myself (I feel so dirty)

Suggestions gratefully welcomed

First of all, it sounds like you need a good cleaning in 5 easy steps
1-run a hot shower
2-lather up with soap
3-scrub all over
4-apply shampoo to your head if you need it
5-Rinse off and towel dry
Now do you feel cleaner? LOL.....you asked for that one

Now for the Klone problem, good info here:
http://forums.dreamincode.net/showt...

Other than that, you may want to browse through the other Klone problems listed in computing.net They have the fixes in them through Jabuck who is the most thorough in this forum for those kind of problems.
Just click on the 'More' buttom above your post and they'll be laid out for you

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Having a plethora of security tools with outdated definitions, is almost as bad as not having any protection or even worse for anyone with a dirty internet habit.

There are rogue programs, sure, but not any of the ones you've mentioned: 'SpyBot S&D, Edwido, AVG, SpyWare Guard, Spyware Blaster' are all well known, legitimate applications

Having looked at many of the logs posted here, it seems more than a bit ironic that most of the infectees are running nearly every preventative measure known - although certainly failing to keep those updated might well be the problem.

More than anything (I believe) 'smart surfing' makes much, (if not all) the difference
