Another Google Redirect Virus

Specs: Windows XP

I've been hit with the Google redirect virus once again. The solution that fixed the problem last time does not work this time around. My search results are redirected on both Firefox and IE, although not all links are redirected. Some do bring me to the right place.

I ran MalwareBytes quick scan yesterday and nothing showed up. I ran Combofix and I think I followed the instructions properly, and it deleted a few things, but my Google search results are still being redirected. I tried to run devicemanager and find "tdsserv.sys" (as some people have suggested) but I don't see it anywhere. I can't find it.

I am getting really frustrated with these viruses... I don't know how to deal with this problem.

Many thanks to anyone who will help me.

I also HIGHLY suggest you uninstall either Norton, or Kaspersky from your system, as you should only have one AV program and one Anti-Spyware Program on your system, (Two AV programs could cause your system to be unstable). (Link to Kaspersky Removal Tool)

Secondly, have you tried disabling Javascript in Firefox?.. You can do this by going to Tools > Option > Content (and then look for Javascript on the list and disable it), if that stops the pop ups/redirecting try running a scan with Hitman Pro 3.5. as suggest above, or, download Malware Bytes from here: and scan in safe mode.
