if i go to my computer then to C drive then the windows folder then theres an icon for system 32 and then inside that theres a blank white icon that sayd windir32. if i delete this will it remove the virus?

Go ahead and delete it, you'll probably need to be in safe mode.

Another tip would be to create and use a Limited Account in Windows. Administrators can install software and change system settings. Limited accounts don't have these privileges. So, if you use the Internet with a Limited account, and you click on the wrong thing, malware cannot install itself. Also, consider using a moified HOSTS file. They work.

One more thing, after deleting/removing the Virus, do the following: Go to control panel, click system. Click System Restore. Check the box marked "Turn off System Restore. Click Apply, click yes to the warning, and click ok. Restart your computer. Go back to System Restore and uncheck the "Turn off System Restore" box. This clears your past restore points. This is necessary because Antivirus Programs can't scan Restore Points. But, the restore points keep the virus. So, if you were to go back to an earlier time, you would be infected again. This will start you fresh. Good luck.
