First, move Hijack This to a permanent directory like c:\program files\hijack this\hijackthis.exe. This way you can undo any changes if something goes wrong.

Post another full log for us to look at.

K did that and here is the log file I got, do I fix anything from the hijack this program as I just normally scan since I don't want to mess anything up. Also thought the problem was gone as I ran all the software earlier and it seemed to be gone and comp was clean but then I reconnected my internet connection and trojan came back meaning was never really gone.

Chris, I have to run out now, will be back
later. Do this for now.

Download Ad-Aware and update it.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

From lavasoft faqs.
Use the Custom Scan with Memory and Both registry scans ON for your first scan.
I keep it at that setting.

Also.... make sure that you activate IN-DEPTH scanning before you proceed.
Actually you should always use IN-DEPTH scanning whichever mode you choose.
This will be made a default setting in Ad-aware 6.2 when released.

Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:
"Unload recognized processes during scanning."
Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Cleaning Engine:
"Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."
Next...
Run Ad-aware 6.

Post another log, you have something called
common name, which Ad-Aware should remove.
You do have more to remove.

Hi:

I have the same problems as Chris and I have downloaded Ad-aware and updated the resource file, I actually followed Abnormal's advice in Response Number 6. When I reboot my computer, ad-aware started scanning automatically and found no new object. I was real happy and when the window started, the annoying bbb.exe and winfavorites errors are back again and I had ad-aware rescan the whole thing and it found more new objects. This is really frustrating and can anyone help me? Thank you sooooo much!

Grace

Well got an email a while ago from somebody that I guess read this post and had the same problem so I visited this thread back and saw a couple people with the problem so here is what I responded hope it helps you guys out.

No thank god I don't have it anymore. Its actually very tedious and I could not do it without the mods helping out. First disconnect your internet connection. Download spyware spybot search and destroy, scan for for problems and delete the ones it finds. run adaware 6 and do the same thing. Then go into all the temp folders you have delete the files in there and also those in the temp internet files. Then run that program that you use to get the hijack this log. Get the log file, do not delete anything on there. Save that log file and restart comp, get back online and if virus comes back up post the log you had saved on one of those websites either computing.net or http://forums.spywareinfo.com The guys and girls there will tell you which file needs to be deleted. Once you find out what you have to delete redo all the steps I had told you to do b4 except when u runnning the hijack this program delete the files they told you to delete. Then restart your computer and get back online and problem should be gone. Hope that helps out cause I know how annoying that thing was.

Also refer to the links already on this page for the thread on spyware forum plus abnormal's great prevention tips thread.

Also;
Download Ad-Aware and update it.
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

Mark the objects you wish to eliminate for removal. All of them.
Make a Quarantine only if you do not have the Auto-Quarantine option ON.
Then choose to Next to remove the chosen objects.
Finally.....Reboot
