Comment: My friend has Andromedia on his system. we run Malwarebytes program and his system freezes up after 5 minutes. We run it for 4 minutes and remove partial...re-run and remove partial...now we know there is more to remove but system freezes up before going deep enough. What do we do now?

Reply: (edit)Yeah you'll need to ensure that Andromedia is closed and shut down before running it. Close it and make sure you exit from the toolbar if it sticks there. Follow the advice to remove it from the start-up list if necessary, although you should remember to turn it back on in future! Failing that, you can try booting in to Safe Mode and running the app from there. Safe Mode should rule out any program conflicts that might be taking place in Normal Windows mode. http://www.pcfixreview.com

Reply: (edit)I used a boot disk made by Mcaffee that boot into a safe mode. this removed most of the problems...then whammed it with the Malwarebytes program and removed the last 108 infections and at last it is gone. Installed the new Comodo on the system and hope that the idiots can stay of the video websites...if not they can pay me by the hour next time. Thanx
