hmmmmm.. 3 years .. like he said why now? .......... well anyway go turn off your allow remote users to connect remotely got to do that ... then go to my computer right click... click manage / go to services and applications / under services make sure everything that has to do with the remote hasn't been started manually and go ahead an just make sure they r all off anyway ... go to your users and make sure there isn't a differ profile or make sure that another admin hasn't been created to change permissions on you... you need to make sure you the admin has full control of all object in its containers and sub folders
make sure admin only has that right .. make sure the others have limited rights an access on things that do with your PC .. i would also recommend changing your admin password change it every 3 days if needed ..and set up your lockout policy too like 2 attempts.... there is a bunch of things u need to cover i can give u more things to check depending on what kind of attack it is example man in the middle / brute force attack .../ Trojan attack .../ DOS attack etc etc
your girl could have even put a Key Logger on your PC without u knowing.. fill me in on stuff u have tried and already done .... so we can resolve your issue
