ok, i have a new AIM virus. i got this one by clicking a link somebody on my buddylist sent me. it pops up a page says" osama bin laden capture" and asks yes or no to download the video. of course i clicked yes, cuz im an idiot. but now it sends this link to everyone in my buddy list everytime they sign (on without me knowing it,) or untill they infect themselves. id like to fix it and help my friends do the same. thanks

yea...i unistalled buddylink through its folder...then deleted the folder.....anything else?

no just go to add remove prog. and delete anything having to do w. buddylinks or PSD tools

anyone know about this: whenever im on aim.. an away message appears and it says: new profile http://ugleague.net/aimprofile.scr ! its really annoying..because it pops up every minute..or so. I deleted aim and reinstalled it..and its still doing it. How can i remove this?

Yeah it is a real annoying thing thats going around lately. If you are running an antivirus program such as McAfee or Norton it should automatically pick up the virus and eliminate it. If you don't have one of these then there are probably other solutions to it but i don't have the time to figure it out. I have a friend who is infected with it and I tried to infect myself in order to figure out how to rid myself of it. McAfee Virus Scan automatically detected it and eliminated it before it could be installed. Norton can also do this when you run a virus scan. The virus is actually a worm. It is the W32/Sdbot.worm.gen virus.
