Comment:

I used the automated Hijackthis log thing and got rid of all thet hings it said and restarted, but now it's only saying (4)explorer.exe's are nasty. How do I get rid of these? That's all that came up on that, so is the AIM virus gone now? I actually still have a winzip32.exe in processes that I dont recognize. Is that from the explorer.exe's or AIM virus?

Reply:

run msconfig and deselect unknown startup files,
reboot in safe mode,
(explorer.exe)is in windows folder only, dont delete unless corrupt, first replace from cd,
check which explorers are false and remove,
use sfc to repair system files from (cd win installed disc)if required,

scan for virus again and spy/adware,
