If you get up to the login screen and only get a black screen after you've logged in as administrator, it is most unlikely that it's a hardware issue.

What's about safe mode. Did you get the same black screen in safe mode?

If your compu is on a netwerk start it up and log-on
Wait till you get a black screen.
This PC we call computer A

On an other PC (we call computer B) in the network, do a remote desktop connection to computer A.
Go to Configuration Panel en remove the video driver.

Reboot computer A and it will come up with VGA drivers
Re-install the proper Video drivers.

Hope it works

Success

try if any hot keys work like winbutton + r
if this works type taskmgr.exe go to the processes tab, go to file new task and type in explorer.exe
lols i doubt that it is a simple matter of explorer being turned off but it has happened before.

goodluck
/luck =)

also check if ur screen is plugged in!! if syzygy's network trick doesnt work take it to a computer store get them to look over it. your hardware could have done itself or you could have malicious software ending all non essential processes to remain logged on but to have no interface.
