Comment:
An AVG scan discovered "adware xupiter". Do I need to be concerned about it? And if so, what is the best method for removing "adware xupiter" or recommended free removal tool if that is the best way.

This is a good source for the best free-ware tools
http://majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=20 I may suggest SuperAntispyware spybot s&d , untick tea timer but immunise spywareblaster malawarebytes-antimalware would be some good tools to have on your system . (you may have to site search for spyware blaster ) but it's worth it . install up-date and run them this should sort out your problem

PS yes I checked no 404's this time :-)
