Hello, for the past few weeks I've been having problems with Adobe Photoshop 6.0. I cannot update the program files, nor can I go into ANY site that has adobe in the address. Meaning if I go into www.adobe.com or even to download.com to update from 6.0 to 6.1 I can't. All that comes up is page cannot be displayed. I also cannot get into adobe forums to find help. I'm using Zone Alarm and uninstalled it, it still doesn't work. I've even tried using a different browser Foxfire, still nothing. I called my ISP they say everything is fine on their end, and to do a virus check and run adaware still nothing was found. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

Thanks

Rearly rare case.

Up to this moment, http://192.150.14.120/ is
www.adobe.com So try to enter by IP address. If still doesnt enter to adobe.com, that means your computer has blocked this IP for some reason by itself.

Then u need to find out where the computer has blocked it.

1) try to open the HOST file
2) try to check the Internet Options -> Security option -> Restricted Sites -> Sites -> check out if not empty here.

It may not virus or so, goodluck.

dickson,

1) How do I find the HOST file?

2) Restricted Sites, nothing in there but I have adobe.com in as a trusted site.

3) Tried the IP address you gave me, still doesn't come up.

How would I find out if the computer has blocked adobe sites?

Thanks,

1) Make sure your case the computer is virus free and jsut adobe.com was blocked

2) the HOST file is normally at C:\Windows\system32\ or C:\Windows\system32\driver\etc with the name "host" no extension, and it is just a text file, try to open under notepad to check out the content.

3) try to diasble all Firwwall temporarily.

4) At the Command Prompt , Type "ping 192.150.14.120". If can't access that IP, it will say can't find that IP address.

Try it

cheers
