Thank you Ray,
It's good meanwhile to add information only AdAware 6.0/181 is able to update, all formers versions are not supported anymore ...

To add to Imp's post, if you have an old build (look in the bottom right hand corner of the AAW screen when you open it - it should say Build 6.181) and you're using the free personal version, you can go here and get the new one. If you using the Plus or Pro version, post at the Lavasoft Forums if you've lost your email with the link or if it's expired and an Admin will PM you with the info you need to get the new build (no cost). Make sure you uninstall the old version before you install the new one.

Good morning all - am I correct that we should entirely remove/delete build 6.181; and then install the new build??

Or is it possible to just lay-over the new reference file on top of build 6.181??

Sorry if I sound naive; I just woke up and have been medicated due to chest cold. Thanks!!

tomo - If you have Build 6.181 - you're OK. It's just people that have old builds that need to uninstall and reinstall the new one. If you have Build 6.181, just use webupdate to update the ref files.

Thanks!!! I've got something called "spinal stenosis", and if that's not bad enough, "degenerative disc disease" !!
Surgeon is willing to go in with the knife, but can't guarantee anything. I chose the "wait-it-out" choice because he said I'd be in a body cast, and unable to walk for 4 months, and would be rather "bionic" in that I'd have titanium screws and rods inserted in my spine. Hell, probably trigger off metal-detector alarm at the airport!!!!
Atleast the docs give me pain meds - 12 refills at a whack - one year supply; so it helps somewhat.
I guess that's why I enjoy my computer, and all the nice people on this net so much - I've got time to read a lot, and meet new people!!
Thanks for the well wishes!!!!!

Thanks mamabear, I appreciate it!! I'll tell 'ya, if it weren't for those darn Tramadol's, I think I'd take a long walk on a short pier!! They work quite good, and don't make me feel "high"; that's why I prefer them over oxycontin's.

I easily got the Adaware update; downloaded it in a jiffy. My McAfee also updated today, so I think I'm all up-to-date with the latest. So far, so good!! Take care.
