Morning,

Anyone else having trouble downloading new update? I have gotten an 'error retrieving file' message ever since I tried downloading it yesterday.

Thanks and regards,

Phil

Have downloaded the curent update from Lavasoft and it still dates at August 11, 2004. Where are you finding a newer version?

August 11,2004? Are you sure you have the latest version of Ad-aware SE Personal?

Hi all,

A quick update on my problem with downloading the new Adaware update.

Somehow my Firewall (with my help ...lol) had blocked Adaware SE from connecting to the internet. Once allowing it to connect again the update came right through without a hitch.

Sorry for the misleading post.

Thanks and regards,

Phil

Version 1.05 has been out since last fall - what version are you talking about?

PDB,

The Kid means a new 'definition update' is out. Your current Definition file should be: SE1R47 24.05.2005.

If you have that then you are current.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Phil

Thanks Phil - never thought that that was what he was indicating. NOD32 has now updated to Version 2.5., CounterSpy to 1.029, SpySweeper to 4.0. CounterSpy will have a new updated version 2.5 somewhere in the near future.

PDB,

You're welcome and thank you too for the added information on the programs you mentioned.

Have a great day!

I think the new download was hard to get earlier....prolly from demand....looks fine now though.

Seems to be working fine for me. Looks to be a bit smoother/faster operation...groups generic tracking cookies into one item in results (rather than listing them all) etc.
