Hello mamabear; thanks! Noticed that scans seem to pick up much more tracking cookies with this new update.
Enjoy your Sunday evening; take care!

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that this new Ad-Aware SE referencefile update, in its new list of cookies that it objects to, is now flagging one named:

user-id@computing.net

You know, the one for this website that keeps your login ID and Password if you elect to save it, so that you don't have to enter it each time you start IE and access the site?

Worse, when I tried to restore the quarantined cookie back to the Registry, I still could not access My Computing profile without logging in and entering my password.

Yes, I noticed that too, JackG. I always have to re-log in to computing.net after an Adaware SE scan.

I always use a favorites link to "My Computing.Net" page so that I can log on with the cookie saved ID and password, and not have to enter it each time.

I assume mamabear will explain this to the inconvenienced regular Computing.Net users. Like having to exclude this sites cookie, like you have to exclude the one they flag as About:Blank when you want IE to start with a blank page instead of some web site as your Home page.
