Subject: Ad-Aware Plus detected Norton's DLL file |
Comment: Ad-Aware Plus detected Norton's DLL file as a Spyware. I ran Adware Plus v5.7 and it detected Norton Clean Sweep CSCORE.dll file as Comet Cursor. Last month I deleted it w/o realizing it. However, later I couldn't run Norton Clean Sweep and got the following error. CS32.DDL unable to load CSCORE.DLL. Error=0x00000485 One of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found. Symantec provided the solution for this error message at their web site i.e. updating the correct versions of three other DLL files. I tried with their way but it didn't solve the problem . I copied the CSCORE.dll file from CD and that worked. Today while running he Adaware Plus it detected again the CSCORE.dll as a Comet Cursor and then I realized how this file was deleted at the first place. Now my question is, CSCORE.dll is really a spyware? I would appreciate any inputs. Tracy
