Lavasoft has announced the release of their Ad-aware 6, two paid versions being released now, with a freeware version scheduled for release next week.

If you visit the Lavasoft and Wilders.org forums,you'll find quite a few dissatisfied customers.It's early for the new version,but they had plenty of time to get it right IMHO.
I'll stick with spyBot for now. :)

the free standard version, that was supposed to be released today is unavailable for download,all the download links are to the download page, so even if you manage to get to one of lavasofts ad-aware download pages, it isn't there, click on it to download, and you just reload the page.
