It's wierd I don't think I have a virus per say but about every 30 minutes I get what looks like and an active x popup asking me to install websearch by IBIS LLC. I don't know what to do. Or how to stop getting this message.

What you have is a search Hijacker wanting you to install a search bar,and when its downloaded into your system it collects all sorts of private info about yourself and it hijacks your browser.I suggest you scan your pc with Spybot, and Ad`aware (Fully Updated)and clean any infected files. Here is also a link on how to manualy delete the hijacker that saves me the typing.Make sure you follow the directions carefully, and remove all files that are recommended.
Don't click on the Pop up that you are getting to download the software....just close it....if you didn't initiate a download never download anything.
I think the Win XP SP2 will be used for this fix.

I am having the same problem with this ActiveX popup from IBIS LLC. It asks if I want to install the WebSearch Assistant/Toolbar/Tools and Win-Tools Easy Installer. I always select no, but it keeps poping up ever so often asking again. Does anyone know which file on my computer or which entry in my registry I can delete that will stop this from happening?
