morning,
i got this confusing problem with my computer, i got this access denied message whenever i put external storage into my pc (thumdrive, external harddrives). I know that there is some virus or trojan causing this problem, i search in the registry and try to display my hidden files, i found that there is a file called mmc32.exe causing all this rackets. So i clean up my registry and windows/system32 folder from this files. but it seems that whenever i restart my pc, this problem keep getting back again.
"i search in the registry and try to display my hidden files"
That seems a strange way to go about it
"found that there is a file called mmc32.exe causing all this rackets."
Ah, well... rackets - - it does seem that this is malware - - identified as Backdoor.Agent.ady (and cleaned) by Ewido Anti Spyware (now called AVG)
I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
i got to that conclusion because after i remove all the registry with the command line mmc32.exe and all the autorun.inf from my pc and external harddrive i can open my external harddrive without access denied message. but it seems that i didn't delete the main source because right after i reboot my pc the same problem happen again.
