Comment: i've had this spyware/adware or whatever the hell it is for a week now and i can't get rid of it. i did virus scans, adware program scans blah blah. they did all they could and still no luck with getting rid of this damn adware. i this its that adware.coolwebsearch thing. It keeps changing my homepage to about:blank with some stupid search screen. Reply: (edit)yeah i tryed that. im good i figured it out, finally. i ran in safe mode. used hijackthis and fixed all the stuff that the site said was "nasty". then when going into windows and realizing that it didn't come back, i ran spy sweeper 3.5 and took out all the excess crap. then i just reset my home page through that program and everything is honkie dorie. thanx anyways!
