Has any one here ever heard of this program a4proxy and if so does it do as it says. I found it at this website. http://www.staff.uiuc.edu/~ehowes/soft14.htm,which i linked to off of steve gibsons site www.grc.com. It sounds kind of interesting and might be fun to play around with..please whatever ne1 could tell me would be muchleeee apreciated...thanx...

I think I read about this on another site too. It looks really good. The problem with these is that they can slow your surfing down a lot from what I hear. I was thinking about getting Anonymizer, but seeing this a4proxy, I think I would use its trial first. I don't think Anonymizer has a trial version. If you are just wanting to mask your IP address while you surf, there is another free proxy service I found here: http://www.safeproxy.org/use.html Which you can use as needed and it doesn't require any download. Since a4proxy has a trial version, you could try it and report back here what you think :) You could also try posting a question on other security forums like spywareinfo.com and lurkhere forum; someone on those might have used it.
