Hey Guys I'm using win7 home basic and i have norton internet security 2010 to protect my pc the problem is that in the folder programdata in my system drive (C:\ProgramData\resultdns111.exe) i still get a message from the norton (every 5 seconds) that he blocked a process made by the file (resultdns.exe) but when i go to that file and scan it with norton it says no threats detected the history in my norton is full of that message cuz it's every 5 seconds but my pc is working fine fine and i don't have any problems with it>.... the message by the norton is: (unauthorized access blocked) Action : open process token Actor : C:\ProgramData\resultdns111.exe Actor PID ; 1860 Target : c:\program files \norton internet security\engine\22.214.171.124\ccSvcHst.exe
My advice is to unload Norton. You must use the uninstaller from their website: http://www.symantec.com/norton/supp... Then install a good free one like Avast or AVG, Avast is my preference. Do a bootscan with Avast once you load it up and you will be surprised to see what Norton was missing. Move all it finds to the chest
