32 bit or 64 bit?

OS: Windows Vista Home Premiu
CPU/Ram: Q6600@2.40GHz RAM 3G
Product: Dell / XPS420

Windows Vista Home Premium Service pack 1
CPU: Intel 2Quad Q6600@2.40GHz
RAM: 3GB

I was going to download the free trial of BitDefender, but there are two options, 32 bit or 64 bit. Which one should I download given my computer specs?

i believe Vista Home Premium is only available in 32 bit. System Properties should also identify the OS as either (32 bit) or (64 bit).

thanks for replying, yes just checked and it is 32 bit. I am curious, which op system is the 64 bit for then?

It would be for the 64 bit vista premium,Ultimate, Business, Basic, etc. Correction (jaymac) their are 32 bit and 64 bit flavours for all vista OS.
