Comment: hi, i heard many people say AVG is good. i am already using Norton 2007 tho. and its still have 3621 days subscription left. so i dont wanna remove it. but i'd like to try AVG. so du think its ok to have both AVG and norton on the same machine? thanks

Reply: (edit)Two antivirus programs running at the same time can cause serious instability! Many swear by the free alternatives out there (myself included), and have stuck with them after having used norton av. I personally prefer Avast for free antivirus program. There should be no reason why you couldn't give norton the flick if you want to trial others and if you find it is the av program you want then reinstalling it. It shouldn't affect your subscription (check to be sure first though).
