Comment:

I was surfing www.hp.com and prevx pro alerted me of a file "1.exe" was attemping to install which prex pro blocked. I ran a search on my hard drive and "1.exe" is in my root directory. Norton does not detect this as a virus and I can't find any information on it. Anyone know what this file is and how it got on my hard drive?

1.exe may be spyware, try scanning with adaware6/se or spybot search and destroy, also reboot in safe mode if unable to delete, and rescan...:)

I just received an email containing 1.exe. Norton did not find any viruses, that is until I updated from the April 14th definitions to the April 17th definitions.

It contained a new virus called Trojan.Tooso.H.

Be careful out there.
