Actually, I just read an article on cnet, which explains this is their response to google's gmail which technically offers 1GB alos for free....and virtually unlimited mail for paying customers or something like that.....

Wow...........nice to get these freebies...

Yes this is no surprise to me, Yahoo vs. GMail the WAR is ON!

I knew Yahoo would do something like this if Google can offer 1Gig to their customers, then why should Yahoo be left behind.

lol...

Doesn't hotmail still only offer 2MB??

Anyways, I still prefer my earthlink e-mail because
although it may only be 10MB, I get free POP and SMTP
access (unless Yahoo has reoffered this for free)

Yes, it is incredible. I saw it myself when I opened up my account this morning. Not to mention the new look. The traffic has been INSANELY heavy throughout the day, I had trouble logging in numerous amounts of times today. I guess Yahoo Mail users are in complete shock and awe of seeing their 90% quota shrink down to a mere single digit percentage. I guess one look just wasn't enough today 8)
