Dear : the control programs do not work in win xp I made a pascal program which control ports ( pararel output), It is working in win 98 only who can I make it work in win xp thanks a lot

XP or other NT usually will not 'allow direct access to hardware'. M2 If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

As M2 says, direct access to hardware is a definite no-no with Windows XP. You have to go through the appropriate driver. Stuart
